Last Friday’s Y6 Leavers Fest 2026 was a huge success, packed with unforgettable memories, from snakes, a giant water slide, an inflatable to heaps of activities, campfire songs and plenty of pizza!

There was even the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to pelt our Executive Head Teacher, Mrs R H James, with water balloons!

A huge thank you to all of our amazing parents who gave up their time to help plan, organise, fundraise, host and throw themselves into every part of the event. It simply could not have happened without you. A special thank you to Emma, Tom and Claire for everything you did to make the evening so special.

We would also like to thank Mrs Beddow for giving up her evening to help ensure everything ran smoothly.

We think the photos say it all… so many huge smiles and happy memories for our wonderful leavers.

Year 6 had a brilliant time at Flip Out last week.

From speeding around the go-kart track to taking on the ninja course, there was lots of laughter, excitement and friendly competition along the way.

A lovely afternoon making memories together before they move on to their next chapter. We couldn’t be prouder of them all.

Linden Class had a fantastic day at Crucial Crew, gaining valuable life skills as they prepare for their next chapter. They took part in important safety sessions, from water safety to mental wellbeing.

The children made us incredibly proud with their respect, enthusiasm, and participation, and even made new friends along the way.

A huge well done to all of our amazing Year 6 pupils in Linden Class for completing their SATs.

Over the past week, you have shown

outstanding determination, resilience, and focus

– and you even mastered those all-important super hero poses along the way!

We are so incredibly proud of each and every one of you. Your hard work and positive attitude have truly shone through.

A special thank you to Mrs Beddow for coming in extra early every day to help run SATs Breaktast Club, along with our wonderful Breaktast Club staff, for ensuring every child had a healthy and energising start to the day.

Your support made a real difference throughout the week.

Now it’s time to relax and recharge – enjoy a well-deserved, relaxing weekend.

Linden Class recently took part in Bikeability, building essential safety skills, boosting cycling confidence and learning about sustainable travel.

We’re so proud of their resilience, positive attitude and bravery throughout. Well done, Linden Class!

What a week our children (and staff) have had in Arête. Each and everyone of them experiencing something new, something challenging, not giving up and supporting one another.

A huge thank you to Mrs Beddow, Miss Wells and Miss Whyman for taking time away from their own families and ensuring the children had a wonderful week.

Arête 2025 – Unlocking Potential: Empowering Every Child to Thrive

Our adventures are most definitely making the most of their residential – an evening of problem solving, followed by a fresh start this morning – body boarding on Anglesey. After a well deserved lunch, it was abseiling down onto the beach and wild water slides.

What an incredible day exploring Rhiwbach Slate Mine, with problem solving in the evening.

A fabulous day with a climb to conquer the heights of Lions Rock followed by an afternoon exploring Dinorwig Quarry.

Well done to Years 5 and 6 for their entertaining performances of the musical – School of Pop last week, in front of three packed audiences of parents, family members and the whole school!

It was fabulous to see so much talent, teamwork, singing, acting, dancing, stage management and resilience.

We are proud of our fabulous cast giving it their all, despite the soaring temperatures! An incredible performance which will remain in our memories forever.

Thank you to all involved; our talented children, supportive audiences and dedicated staff, with a very special mention to our Director – Mrs Beddow.

Today, our Year 6 pupils spent the day learning important life skills, thanks to Bridgnorth and South Shropshire Crucial Crew.

Children took part in topical workshops based around personal safety and other issues they may face as they transition from primary to secondary school.

They gained invaluable insights in how to keep themselves safe and how to make positive contributions to their community.

We are proud of our Year 6 children for showing confidence and kindness, and for displaying wonderful behaviour – that’s The Wenlock Way!
