🏡 How Parents Can Help at Home

You play a huge role in supporting your child’s learning. Simple, regular actions at home make a big difference:

  • Encourage your child to read daily and talk about what they’ve read
  • Practise times tables and key number facts little and often
  • Talk about learning at school – ask what challenged them or what they’re proud of
  • Support good routines: organisation, homework time and sleep
  • Encourage curiosity – questions, discussions and learning from mistakes

Most importantly, celebrate effort and a positive attitude to learning.

🎤 Show and Tell of the Week

Each week, children are invited to take part in Show and Tell.

This could be:

  • An object, photo or project
  • Something linked to learning
  • Something they’re proud of or interested in

Show and Tell helps build confidence, communication skills and listening.
