To celebrate this Remembrance Sunday, a group of Linden Class pupils had the privilege of attending a special ceremony at our local churchyard led by Reverend Matthew. The children proudly read a moving poem they had written themselves, before placing remembrance crosses on the graves of local servicemen who gave their lives for our freedom.
Meanwhile, children in Breakfast and After School Club created beautiful poppy artwork to help us reflect, remember and honour those who served.
A huge thank you to all the children and staff who helped make these commemorations so meaningful. If you have the opportunity, please take a moment to read the poem written by Linden Class. Their thoughtful words are a powerful reminder that the sacrifices of the brave will never be forgotten.
Lest we forget.
